Donor Egg Recipients

Donor Egg Recipients

If you fall into either of the two groups described below, New Hope Fertility may recommend you undergo donor egg IVF:

Those with Immediate Need

  • No ovaries due to prior surgeries or congenitally underdeveloped ovaries from conditions such as Turner's syndrome, etc.
  • Premature Ovarian Failure, characterized typically by low estrogen, high FSH (greater than 30-40 mIU/ml)
  • Post Menopause
  • Impaired Ovarian Reserve, characterized by a low number of eggs due to previous medical procedures such as chemotherapy

Those with Circumstantial Need

  • Based on mutual decision by the patient and doctor
  • Women still having regular periods or still producing eggs but who have experienced multiple failed IVF trials
  • Women between the ages of 44 and 46

New Hope Fertility also assists patients using anonymous or directed sperm donors. Patients are allowed to purchase anonymous sperm donors from accredited sperm banks across the country. We are able to screen directed donors (patient partner or known sperm donors) using the screening tests mandated by the FDA.
