Lyndon Chang, M.D., FACOG
New Hope Fertility is very pleased that this year has brought the addition of Dr. Lyndon Chang to our staff full time.
Dr. Chang graduated from medical school at age 23, after completing a 6 year accelerated MD program at Jefferson Medical College, from which he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He then completed his Ob/Gyn training at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was awarded the Kupperman Prize for resident excellence. He then went on to assist in supervising the Ob/Gyn residency program at Lenox Hill and was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year in 2002. He also ran the Ob/Gyn department at the Paul Robeson Medical Center, which served the underprivileged in Harlem. In 2002, he founded the ELJ Ob/Gyn practice, which remains one of the largest obstetrical providers at Lenox Hill. Dr. Chang is a board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Medical Association. He continues to enjoy a 17-year affiliation with Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Chang met Dr. Zhang about 4 years ago, when their offices were near each other. When Dr. Chang would run into questions regarding fertility issues in his practice, he would frequently consult with Dr. Zhang. Through their discussions, Dr. Chang became of aware of minimal stimulation IVF, and was impressed by Dr. Zhang's intelligent and low-key approach. At that time, NHF was a new practice and was very busy. Dr. Chang decided to pitch in and assist Dr. Zhang part time, and appreciated the opportunity to learn more about Dr. Zhang's work. Eventually, despite the success of his own practice, he felt there was a greater need to help spread the techniques of minimal stimulation IVF, and he joined Dr. Zhang full time.
Dr. Chang is very honored to be working with Dr. Zhang in this important work. NHF, as well as its patients, is fortunate to have him.
