MINGXUE YANG, M.D., PH.D.

Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Yang received his Medical Degree from Henan Medical College, China in 1983 and his Master and Doctorate Degrees in Toxicology from Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China in 1986 and 1989, respectively. He was appointed Associate Professor in the Institute of Occupational Diseases, Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine after completing his two-year postdoctoral training at Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry, Chinese Academy of Science. He came to the U.S. as a visiting scholar and was appointed Research Assistant Professor, in the Department of OB/GYN at the New York University School of Medicine.  Dr. Yang finished his internship and residency training in OB/GYN at NYU School of Medicine and New York Downtown Hospital.
 
Dr. Yang is an attending physician in New York Downtown Hospital and New York Queens Hospital affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System.  He received the National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education 2006 by the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also received an award for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures in 2005 by American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
